A while ago we reported that Rob Liefeld had up and quit his work at DC, with no word of what DC would do to cover for him leaving. Now, thanks to the release of some of DC’s Solicits, we know who is picking up what pieces.

So, here goes:

“Savage Hawkman” will be taken over by Fabian Nicieza (who has worked with Liefeld before, notably on “New Mutants”) Frank Tieri, as reported on Twitter, and the story will be based on Liefeld’s plot, with Joe Bennett on interiors.

“Deathstroke” will be taken over by Justin Jordan, assumedly in conjunction with his work on “Team 7,” with Scott Clark on interiors.

“Grifter” will be taken over by Frank Tieri, with Marat Mychaels on interiors.

There you have it, folks. Excited?

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
