Kapow ’11: Mark Millar Writes Comic Books

Kapow, created by Mark Millar, is certainly a bit of a Millar fest. That is extra clear if you attended the Millarworld panel, where Millar essentially announced 4 books, two of which are currently underway.

  • Hit Girl, from Millar and Leandro Fernandez
  • Supercrooks, from Millar and Lenil Yu (What about Superior?)
  • An untitled book from Millar and Frank Quitely, to be released on Image
  • An untitled book from Millar and Dave Gibbons, to be announced soon

Millar is certainly a busy man, and now that he is done doing property-owned superhero books it looks like he’s filling his days up as much as possible with other titles. Let’s just hope for some kind of timely releases on these. I suppose.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
