There were rumors of what would happen after Bendis left his three Avengers-related titles, but so far we only know that “Avengers” and “New Avengers” are going to Hickman. “Avengers Assemble” is so far up in the air.
Or is it? A Marvel teaser just popped in our inbox (seen above) with the word “ASSEMBLE” over the names DeConnick (of the Kelly Sue variety) and Caselli (of the Stefano variety). Kelly Sue is co-writing the “Castle” graphic novels with Bendis, so her taking the reigns from him on a title wouldn’t be unheard of. Could it be that now she’s getting “Avengers Assemble”?
All signs would point to yes, but we’ll find out for sure when the November solicits arrive.
