In the latest of Marvel’s NOW! That’s What I Call Phase Two, Marvel has released a teaser reading “Higher” from Kelly Sue DeConnick and David Lopez to be revealed during the Spider-Man panel at NYCC.
What’s interesting about this piece is that the “Higher” could seemingly refer to one of two things. One, it could mean the return of Captain Marvel — which would make sense because Cap is a friend of Spider-Man and the two even went on a date. Two, this could be the rumored/fan-requested Kelly Sue Spider-Woman book spinning out of “Avengers Assemble,” something that only became a rumor because fans wanted it so much (including us).
Whatever it may be, we’re eagerly awaiting the announcement of this one.
