Well that’s not something you hear every day! Somewhere out there, Multiversity writer/podcaster Brandon Burpee is doing a back flip of joy.

So! A band has signed a deal with a comics company! Huh. What this exactly entails, I’m not entirely sure, but according to a report over at super-scoop website Bleeding Cool, fan-favorite band Kirby Krackle has signed a deal with Marvel comics. It’s not entirely a shocker either – Agent M/Ryan Penagros has been tweeting about the band a lot recently, and Joe Quesada even shredded with them at a gig during ECCC. It looks like the relationship has panned out, because now they will be working with Marvel even more, which is exciting for fans and nerds everywhere.

What’s in this deal? I have no clue. But never the less, congrats!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
