USA Today, in a well spoken article that proves the publication has clearly read a comic book and knows anything about the culture surrounding them*, has revealed The Infinite, a brand new science fiction book launching from two virtually unknown** creators named Robert Kirkman and world’s greatest artist*** Rob Liefeld. While the article does not specify whether the series will be ongoing or limited, they did have a very concise description courtesy of Kirkman:

In the future, the world has fallen to a villain who has discovered time travel. A soldier named Bowen goes back to visit his 19-year-old self, Bo, at a turning point in his life and to persuade him and others to help defeat “The Infinite” and prevent impending doom.”A lot of people in comic books are trying to save the world. Not a lot of them are trying to save the world after having seen it destroyed.”

Be on the look out for this bad boy in August courtesy of Kirkman’s own Image Comics imprint, Skybound, and rest assured: the feet in this book will be drawn impeccably.
