We were very excited by the release of Image’s “Wild Children,” a graphic novella by Ales Kot and Riley Rossmo. So much so, in fact, that we wrote enthusiastically not just once, but twice, eventually ending up with a pull quote on the “Wild Children poster, which sort of makes us an authority on the subject.

With that in mind, when we tell you that you should be excited about Ales’ new book “Change” with Morgan Jeske, Sloane Leong and Ed Brisson, then you should take us as an authority on this as well. Say no more, right? We give it the thumbs up, you know you need to buy it.

Well, if that’s somehow not good enough, take a look at some upcoming pages from the book, just for you:

In addition to that, Ales sends along the following message for our readers:

A foul-mouthed struggling screenwriter who moonlights as a car thief. An obscenely wealthy rapper completely disconnected from the real world. A dying cosmonaut on his way back to Earth.

Los Angeles is being toyed with by destructive forces that repeatedly find the city through time and swallow it whole, and those three are the only people able to save it — if they survive the fanatics who live in the hills, NSA agents, and the horrors that lurk in the Pacific Ocean.

Let’s make and read new comics.

TEAM CHANGE

The first issue of “Change” is out in December. Expect awesomeness.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
