A rare announcement from this year’s SDCC that has me jazzed as soon as I read it, CBR has reported that Jöelle Jones’ “Lady Killer” will be returning in March 2016. Jones will be returning as writer and artist of the series, but will be doing so without Jamie S. Rich, who co-wrote the first series.

This new series will see assassin-cum-housewife, Josie Shuller, and her family moving to Florida and the whole new world of drama that ensues. In an interview with CBR, Jones revealed that this new “Lady Killer” series will be “be a lot more revealing about the characters” as opposed to the plot-driven focus of the first series.

“Lady Killer” will return in March 2016, written and illustrated by Jöelle Jones and coloured by Laura Allred. Be sure to head over to CBR for an interview with Jones about the series.

Alice W. Castle

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
