Coming to theaters in 2017, there will be an animated film version starring Will Arnett’s rendition of Batman from “The Lego Movie”, and let’s be totally honest, you know you’re more excited for it already than you are Ben Affleck’s one.

Sure to feature various dark things – like very black coffee, for one – this film will likely push back the sequel to “The Lego Movie” and will be helmed by Chris McKay, the man who was originally slated to direct the sequel. Given that everyone loved the Batman from that film and that Will Arnett’s absolutely hilarious as the character, there’s a lot to look forward to, but I hope there’s a sprawling supporting cast to go with him, even potentially some characters seen in “The Lego Movie” itself. Maybe not Emmett, but Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as Green Lantern and Superman again? Yes, please.

Darkness is coming in just a few years. Hope you’re ready for it.
