E3, the video game conference, is in full swing this week and developer Traveller’s Tales revealed a trailer for their next LEGO game, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. After brickifying (that’s a word, right?) the DC superheroes, TT games have finally let loose on the mighty world of Marvel in the trailer above and it looks awesome, right? That’s the thing about LEGO games, I’ve never seen anyone capable of not enjoying them.

The developers announced that the game will be released this October for the current gen platforms (Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U) and will feature over one hundred playable characters. The game will also launch on the next gen platforms of Xbox One and PS4 whenever those platforms are released.

There’s also a quick walkthrough/interview down below that shows off some gameplay that is instantly recognisable as a LEGO game with some nice twists. For one, we can see that both Thor and Human Torch can fly whenever, which should really open up the map and we got to see Hulk smashing up the place as a larger character model than the others.

I don’t know, I’m excited for this game. Check it out.

Alice W. Castle

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
