With ‘Superior Spider-Month’ coming this July, we’ve been seeing a lot of change and growth in the Spider-verse. First we got “Superior Foes Of Spider-Man”, then a “Superior Carnage” miniseries and now we’ve got the news that “Avenging Spider-Man” will be making way for “Superior Spider-Man Team Up”.
Current “Avenging Spider-Man” writer Christopher Yost, who took over the title after the “Superior Spider-Man” switch, will be staying on for the new series and will be joined by artist David Lopez. It seems from the solicitation that while the book is titled “Team-Up”, the main push of the story will be how many different characters can Spider-Man fight as he first goes up against the Avengers.
