Yesterday, Donald Glover posted the above cover to an upcoming issue of Li’l Depressed Boy, featuring LDB sat next to Childish Gambino himself at summer camp! Glover has been an outspoken supporter of the book, as well as his Community co-star Danny Pudi, and given the books tendency to feature musicians (like Kepi Ghoulie and Andrew Jackson Jihad), it was really only a matter of time before Childish made his appearance.
For those who don’t get the reference, Glover released an album under his rap pseudonym entitled Camp last year. Given the nature of Glover’s lyrics, it is fair to assume that he and LDB will have quite a lot to talk about.
We don’t have a date for this issue, but one would imagine that this is for Image’s upcoming May solicits.
