If you haven’t been reading Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s “Locke and Key,” an exceptional title released by IDW, you’ve been missing out on one of the most excitingly fresh and well told books on the market. We’d previously heard that Fox was planning to put together a show based on this book, and now fans have the moment they’ve been waiting for: a green light for a pilot.
Josh Friedman from The Sarah Connor Chronicles will be scripting the pilot, but no show runner has been announced yet. While we know almost assuredly we won’t get a Frank Darabont level show runner involved, with a book of such prodigious quality it will likely attract someone of some esteem.
Look for more on this as we get it, and for the love of god people, read this book.
