As part of a marketing scheme for the upcoming indie film Thor: The Dark World, Comedy Central has produced a 30-second spot parodying Beck Bennett’s AT&T ads which a) I love, b) are hilarious and c) are never not funny. Featuring Tom Hiddleston as Loki as Beck Bennett’s sarcastic kid-talking salesman, the children and the God of Mischief discuss superheroics and Loki’s never-ending quest for redemption from his past is once again called into question when he’s put to the ultimate test.

Personally, I hope this is the first of many, because that was adorably hilarious (perhaps even “adorkable”). And also because who doesn’t like seeing Loki bully some innocent children for our entertainment?

Either way, sip your morning coffee, watch the video and enjoy a nice giggle at a child’s expense.

Update: Now with more, straight from Michael Zorek, father to the adorable little girl Diana seen in this ad (as well as Jeremy, the young man in the red shirt):

And, if you’ve never seen what they are parodying, here’s an AT&T promo that also features Diana:

Life is too good sometimes.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
