In the newest episode of the Marvel’s Pull List podcast the company teased new details and announced new books for the month of the July. First up, Marvel gave the first details and covers for the first issues of Jonathan Hickman’s recently announced X-Men titles, “House of X” and “Powers of X.” In “House of X,” illustrated by Pepe Larraz and Marte Gracia, “Charles Xavier reveals his master plan for mutantkind… one that will bring mutants out of the shadow of mankind and into the light once more.” The book features a cover depicting X (Charles Xavier reborn in Fantomex’s body), as well as versions of Cyclops, Wolverine, Magneto, and someone who looks to be Jean Grey. “Powers of X,” featuring art by R.B. Silva and Gracia, in true Hickman fashion, looks to “reveal the secret past, present, and future of mutantkind, changing the way you look at every X-Men story before and after.”
The show also announced two new titles, “Loki” and “Punisher: Kill Krew” for July. “Loki” is an ongoing series from writer Daniel Kibblesmith and artist Oscar Bazaldua, which sees the god of mischief take on some new responsibilities following “War of the Realms.” Also spinning out of “War of the Realms” is the five-issue miniseries “Punisher: Kill Krew” from writer Gerry Duggan and artist Juan Ferreyra, which sees Frank Castle go on a Ten Realm war. (Duggan is currently writing the “War of the Realms: Punisher” tie-in which has covers by Ferreyra.) It was also teased that Jeremy Whitley and Wil Robson will be crafting “The saga of the Future Foundation,” starting in what seems like a back-up tale to “Fantastic Four” #12, and that artist Cory Smith will join Donny Cates on “Guardians of the Galaxy” for a new arc starting in #7 called ‘The Death of Rocket.’
