It looks like the “Longshot” everyone has been clamoring for is finally happening! Written by Christopher Hastings (creator of Doctor McNinja and writer of some Deadpool stories a little while back) and illustrated by Jacopo Camagni, the book finds Longshot leaving X-Factor Investigations in order to cross the street and grab a Valencia Orange Refresher at his local Starbu–
Oh, I’m kidding. It’s about him saving the Marvel Universe. Go figure, right? With a title like that I could’ve sworn it’d be about Valenica Orange Refreshers. Maybe I’m just thirsty.
Set for launch in November, the book will be edited by Jordan D. White who worked with Peter David on his decade-long run of “X-Factor,” and Longshot will be involved in a murder investigation independent of his work with the now-closing X-Factor Investigations. SHIELD will be there, some Marvel villains and who knows who else may pop-up.
