Announced over at >AOL TV, it looks like LOST’s Man In Black – Titus Welliver – has joined the ever growing cast of Powers as Triphammer.

For those who haven’t read Powers, Triphammer is the series’ mild-analogue to Iron Man. He’s an important part of the fictional universe of Powers, having created the “power dampeners” that the police department uses to interrogate perps with superhuman abilities. He also has a major role in the “Who Killed Retro Girl?” first arc of Powers, which will also be important to the first season of the show – but if you haven’t read the arc before, keep in mind: spoilers!

It’s certainly an interesting cast so far, with Jason Patric and Lucy Punch headlining as the main characters. Bendis also teased on Twitter that Johnny Royale will be announced soon, so keep your eyes open for that.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
