Mad Cave Studios announced that three of their comic book series will return in the fall of 2020. Ahead of their solicitations, the Miami, Florida based publisher confirmed that “Knights of the Golden Sun” #8, “Honor and Curse” #7, and “Battlecats” Vol. 3 #1 are slated to be released this fall.

In a press release, Mad Cave Studios founder Mark London said, “Folks have been asking for more of each series and although I’ve been teasing it here and there, I’m proud to announce that they are well under production. So far, things look excellent on all fronts and I can assure you that Mad Cave is going to redefine the word epic.”

London, who is a series writer on all three of the comics, also noted that the same creators of each respective series will be returning for these continuations.

“Knights of the Golden Sun” #8, written by London with art by Mauricio Villarreal, will follow the archangels as they are closer to finding the truth behind God’s disappearance from Providence. The series also asks, “Will the relics bring Father back and finally end the 400 years of solitude? What is Metatron planning? And where is Lucifer?”

“Honor and Curse” #7 by Mark London, artist Nicolas Salamanca, and colorist Tekino will join Genshi as he searches for the Elder One and learns to control Tengu, the powerful demon trapped inside him. Akemi, Genshi’s former lover and leader of the Iga, grapples with leading the group and honoring her father’s legacy. As Genshi adapts to her new role, the Koga, led by Lord Yazuro, plan an attack to take over the Iga.

“Battlecats” Vol. 3 #1 by London, artist Michael Camelo, and Tekino will begin with the rise of Valadar over Eramad III. As a new red moon signals the rise of a new god, Adastril will lead the heroes of Valderia for a final showdown.

On the new volume of “Battlecats,” Camelo says, “After working on the first two volumes, volume three is a totally different beast. We are bringing years of work to a close, so expect the unimaginable.” Tekino adds, “The most impressive part of volume three is exploring new regions of Valderia. Choosing how to differentiate each of those regions through color and giving the Battlecats a scruffy, ‘on the run’ appearance is really exciting.”
