Make A Scott Pilgrim T-Shirt With Scott Pilgrim

It seems that every year ComicCon gets bigger and bigger with it’s ideas and events. This year is no exception. According to the Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, across from the convention center in the Hilton Gaslamp there will be an immersive Scott Pilgrim experience that includes a room where you and the cast of the movie will design your own t-shirt. Yes, you read that correctly: Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick and director Edgar Wright all have shifts where they will be there to help you design your Scott Pilgrim shirt and even help you outfit in it (if you need the help).

Universal is going to be giving Scott Pilgrim a heavy push (not that it needs it in the comic book world, to be honest) this year and it will also be the featured presentation at Universal’s panel on Thursday. A Scott Pilgrim panel will be present alongside a panel for the film Paul, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, so fans of the movie Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz as well as Spaced should all rejoice.

Those going to San Diego Comic-Con, be sure to have lots of fun and leave with a custom made Scott Pilgrim t-shirt! I’m going to go ahead and make a guess here that with the movie, Pilgrim is only going to get more popular (and hopefully more recognition that it’s always deserved), so how cool will it be to have your own little t-shirt out of the experience?

We’ll be sure to give you any and all cool information out of SDCC, so keep your eyes open in the coming week(s) for all the fun that is sure to be had.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
