I’ve gotta say – as someone who got back into comic books via Bendis and Bagley’s Ultimate Spider-Man, this is pretty damn awesome news.
Bagley is coming back to Marvel for the DEATH OF SPIDER-MAN arc in Ultimate Spidey. Jumping in at Ultimate Spider-Man #156, Bagley will return to the book that he and Bendis previously set a record for most consecutive work by a single creative team with 110 issus of the title, and it’s nice to see Bagley back in it. Bendis also promises in ths press release that there are further plans for Bagley outside of just the Ultimate work, so be on the lookout for that now that his work on JLA is done.
Marvel is having a killer news day already. Let’s see what else they drop!
