Mark Millar And Dave Gibbons To Collaborate On A Comic

Mark Millar created quite a bit of buzz when he said that he’d be announcing something yesterday, and little old me assumed that giving London it’s first ever massive comic book convention was that announcement. Apparently not! The news is actually that Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons (whose name you might know because of a mildly popular indie book called “The Watch Men” or something like that) are working together on a comic, and I can only assume that this will be the last of the mentioned Millarworld titles.

However, according to everyone’s favorite Bleeding Cool, this isn’t really “news.” In fact, this news is what started Bleeding Cool a little over a year ago. So while it is arguably big news, it isn’t necessarily news news now aside from the fact that Millar has now announced that they are working on it.

Given Millar’s output lately, though, I can only guess what this comic’ll be about. Nemesis + Superior + Kick-Ass = Adjectiveman? One thing’s for certain: it’s going to get a movie deal before you even blink. There – you blinked, and now this has a movie deal.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
