Back at Image Expo, Mark Millar had teased how he was going to create his own universe sort of like a Marvel or DC did, but at Image and entirely featuring creator-owned work. We know the first book – “MPH” with artist Duncan Fegredo – but now we know another: “Starlight“.
This title is described by Millar over at Heat Vision as “Flash Gordon meets The Dark Knight”, and based off the three pages that have been revealed, should be known as something else: Goran Parlov’s coming out party. If you’re not familiar with his work, the “Fury MAX” artist is one of the best artistic storytellers in the business today, and pairing him with the bombastic and consistently high selling ideas of Millar is a great way to make this guy go A-list really fast.
