Marvel Announces Premiere Date For ‘Daredevil’ With First Poster

You know, this year I am rather… tepid on the upcoming comic book films. With The Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Ant-Man being the first Marvel Studios film I’ve thought of as “It looks okay, I guess” and The Fantastic Four looking like the most hilarious trainwreck since… well, the last Fantastic Four film, I’m going into this year with not a lot to be excited for.

Well, except for Marvel and Netflix bringing my third favourite Marvel character to life in the way that I have been saying should happen for years.

Yes, Marvel has finally realised that putting Jack McCoy in a red leather suit is truly the only way to adapt Daredevil into live action and today, they’ve finally let us know when we should clear our calendars in preparation for the first season. Announcing the series, which is now officially titled Marvel’s Daredevil because y’know no one wants to take credit for the whole Ben Affleck thing, premiere date as April 10 with the sick ass poster above, I finally have something to be excited about this year.

Ok, so the focus on the whole Miller/Romita Jr. “Man Without Fear” style ninja outfit instead of the classic red or, dare I mention it, yellow costume has me a little worried, but I can ignore that for now over how freakin’ sick that poster is.

Now, if they’d only announce who Danny Rand will be…
