Tonight on ABC, in lieu of a new episode of Agents of SHIELD, Marvel aired a special entitled Assembling a Universe. Detailing the work that has gone into the process of building a shared cinematic universe, the special was largely just clips of people talking about things we have already seen and knew about before climaxing with a peak ahead at Guardians of the GalaxyAge of Ultron and Marvel’s Phase 3 plans.

There was more shown during the special, including our first look at Ronan, Iron Man’s Hulkbuster armor and the Ant-Man test footage. But until those clips come online (and we will presumably update at that time), enjoy the two pieces of concept art to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, who are joining the team in Age of Ultron:

Keep your eyes peeled for more right here on Multiversity, but in the meantime let us know what you think of these versions of the characters. Did they nail it? Does this Quicksilver look better or worse than the one in Days of Future Past? Miss Scarlet Witch’s little crown… thing? Sign off in the comments below!

Update: And here are some screen shots of the Ant-Man test footage, provided on Marvel.com, as well as concept art from Age of Ultron and Guardians of the Galaxy:

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
