As if there weren’t enough evidence as to why Chrome is the best browser, you can now get your very own Marvel App.

Some but not all Marvel are now available in the HTML 5-based store, The app is similar to that on the iPad/Phone/Pod, except with this one it’s specifically built for Google Chrome. The store is live now, and anything purchased in the preevious Marvel app will be available in the new webstore for Chrome, although not the other way around (yet, at least). There are also reports that the store works in Firefox and Safari as well, but there are no built-in plugins for those browsers like there are with Chrome.

Either way, Marvel does continue to lead the way in trying to make comics as accessible digitally as possible, which is a great thing for regular and new fans in the digital age.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
