Marvel Reveals What’s “Incoming!” This December

On this month’s edition of their Pull List podcast, Marvel have announced their new titles for December 2019, including the heavily teased “Incoming!” The comic will close out the company’s 80th anniversary by uniting the heroes of the Marvel Universe in the hunt for a killer, and will set up next year’s storylines for the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Daredevil, Spider-Man, the Champions, the Agents of Atlas, Valkyrie, the Immortal Hulk, Jessica Jones, Venom, Ghost Rider, the Masked Raider, and many, many more.

The comic will be written by “Marvel Comics” #1000 architect Al Ewing with Dan Slott, Chip Zdarsky, Kelly Thompson, Greg Pak, Eve Ewing, Matthew Rosenberg, Ed Brisson, Saladin Ahmed, Tini Howard, Jonathan Hickman, Donny Cates, and Jason Aaron. Artists confirmed so far include Humberto Ramos and Jim Cheung.

Marvel also announced the following new titles for December:

– “Doctor Strange: Surgeon Supreme,” a relaunch with returning writer Mark Waid and artist Kev Walker, which sees Stephen Strange entering a “new era of magic and horror” after his hands are finally repaired, and now finding himself torn between his duties as Sorcerer Supreme and as a neurosurgeon.

– “Revenge of the Cosmic Ghost Rider,” written by Dennis “Hopeless” Hallum with art by Scott Hepburn, and featuring a back-up story from the character’s creators Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw.

– “Marvel’s Avengers: Iron Man” #1, a prequel to the upcoming video game Marvel’s Avengers, penned by Jim Zub and illustrated by Paco Diaz.

– “Spider-Ham,” written by Zeb Wells with art by Will Robson, which sees Peter Porker and Peter Parker jumping through time together.
