In the most recent Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige briefly discussed a few upcoming films from the studio, featuring some that had been discussed and a few that hadn’t.

While we knew about the water cooler mumblings of Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, as well as the long discussed Ant-Man film from Edgar Wright, the really interesting bits here are the Guardians of the Galaxy and Inhuman films. These films would still be connected to the greater Marvel movie-verse supposedly with inklings of the connection already visible in Thor via Odin’s throne room.

Of course, there have been discussions of Marvel films from various characters and properties for years, some of which have never come to fruition (I remember discussion of Doctor Strange film, and I do believe there are supposedly Venom, Deadpool, and Silver Surfer films from other studios), so don’t assume to see it anytime soon.

That being said, a Guardians of the Galaxy film based on the Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning run would be amazing. I AM GROOT!

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
