Because “Forever Evil” isn’t going to leave you scratching your head enough over what huge ramifications are in store for comics, Marvel has released the above teaser asking “Is He…?” with an attached press release stating that “the Marvel Universe is on the brink of a major change” and more information will be released September 18th. Which, mind you, is usually when Marvel solicits drop.
So the question becomes: Is he … what? Is he smoke? And who is the he in question? And what does the word is mean? Is is being used properly? And what’s with the ellipsis? Are they indicating a pause, someone trailing off or perhaps an omission? If it’s someone trailing off, who is talking? If it’s a pause, why would they only say two words and then take such a huge break for silence? Is this the remark of some teenage child who doesn’t understand how to create or end sentences like an adult with proper grammar? And also, is this really a question if it’s just two words and a series of dots thrown out into the world with no context?
Gosh. So many mysteries, you guys.
Figure out what it is and let us know in the comments.
