So, “Infinity” launched today and Marvel seems pretty excited for it. But who can blame them, right? Jonathan Hickman is probably the best guy to be orchestrating a universal event. Which is why this is some cool news: Marvel has released a new Infinite Comic to tie in to the event. Written by Jason Latour with art by Agustin Alessio, the tie-in is titled “Infinity: Against The Tide” and seems to follow Silver Surfer’s part in the event.

That’s pretty cool because I’ve been a fan of the Infinite Comics since the first ones came out alongside “Avengers Vs. X-Men”. I’m glad Marvel is bringing them back into the fray with things like this and Latour’s and Jason Aaron’s “Wolverine: Japan’s Most Wanted” series. I will admit I wish they were still mostly free, but comics cost money to make so it’s only fair that I pay for a good product.

“Infinity: Against The Tide” is up on comixology right now for $1.99, so be sure to check it out if you’re interested.
