In honor of their recently published solicits, Marvel has put out a new press release in honor of their unsilhoutted cover of Wolverine and the X-Men to compliment yesterday’s Uncanny X-Men reveal. While we do know some of Wolverine’s team (starring Beast, Kitty Pryde and Lockheed, Kid Omega, Iceman and Oya), the cover also reveals what appear to be multiple Nightcrawlers and a few unknowns to boot.

While we don’t exactly know how Wolverine will be leaving the X-Men and how he will be choosing his new friends, last week’s release of Schism #4 did finally show the actual schism between Cyclops and Wolverine, with a promise of a rather epic throwdown in the final issue. Between that and the Regenesis one-shot, I would assume all answers will be revealed.

For the full press release as well as the cover to the second issue, please check behind the cut.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
