Back in April, Marvel teased two books written by Jeff Parker that was to come out. They wouldn’t give a lot of information on it due to Fall of the Hulks not ending. All we knew about it was that it featured large-sized characters in familiar costumes and that it was Hulk related. The real name (spoiler) Hulked Out Heroes leaked out later, but we still didn’t know much. Take a look at the solicit below:

Well, based on Diamond Solicitations, we now know what it is, even though Fall of the Hulks has not ended. Do you want to know? If so, click behind the cut for the “big reveal.”

WORLD WAR HULKS: HULKED-OUT HEROES #1-#2
Written by JEFF PARKER
Pencils and Covers by HUMBERTO RAMOS
Spinning from the shocking twist ending of FALL OF THE HULKS, Jeff Parker (WORLD WAR HULKS: ALPHA, AVENGERS VS. ATLAS, THUNDERBOLTS) and Humberto Ramos (SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN, X-MEN) bring you the most incredible new character from the House of Ideas: HULKPOOL! What sacrifices will he make for the greater good? What horrible decisions will change the world as we know it? And what do Devil Dinosaur, Rawhide Kid, Rama Tut, and Bluebeard the Pirate have to do with this? Find out this April in HULKED-OUT HEROES!
40 PGS.(each)/Rated T+ …$3.99 (each)

There you have it. Hulked-Out Heroes. Featuring MOAR DEADPOOL! And Devil Dinosaur is in it! Although he’s not the version from Nextwave, which kinda sucks.

So what do you think? To be quite honest, I blame us for this. As Quesada said at ECCC, before Deadpool was everywhere, people wanted him everywhere. Now that he is, we complain. “You vote with your dollar,” he said, and he’s very right. Because people buy up stuff like this, books like this happen. Also, I feel like it’s poor form to reveal this stuff before “the final page of Fall of the Hulks.” Obviously you’re not really ruining much, and this (like Buffy-gate) doesn’t spoil anything for me personally, but for the actual fans of the book, I feel like this is when they ruined that Nekron was the villain of Blackest Night. As non-surprising as this might be, surprise us anyway.

Now, I’m not trying to poke shots at anyone in particular. This isn’t against Jeff Parker, and this isn’t against Greg Pak and Jeph Loeb on the quality of the Hulk books, whether I like it or not. I am throwing down my two-cents that I think this is quite silly though, and I can’t say I’ll be reading it.

Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
