Marvel Rolls Out Fantastic Four’s "Three" Conclusion a Day Early

Late breaking news coming from Newsarama tonight, as the Twitterverse is buzzing about an unannounced Marvel decision. That decision? To release the polybagged final issue of Jonathan Hickman and Steve Epting’s “Three” arc on Fantastic Four a day early, as it will be available for purchase at retailers on Tuesday instead of Wednesday. Diamond’s new policy to have books arrive on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays at retailers makes this a far easier proposition, but I have to say, as a fan of the book this is a really welcome change. Why?

Because of Marvel’s propensity to let the cat out of the bag of their big stories via major media.

Maybe, JUST maybe, this will allow readers to find out who dies in this issue before CNN tells us. Given that most of our staff was swearing off the intarwebs before the release of this issue to not get it spoiled, this is most welcome news indeed.
