Marvel Comics has announced in its November 2019 solicitations that “Star Wars” will be ending with issue #75. The series launched in January 2015 with creators Jason Aaron and John Cassaday, and is set between the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Since then, Kieron Gillen and later Greg Pak took over writing the book with an array of artists, including Stuart Immonen, Salvador Larocca, and Phil Noto, making it the longest uninterrupted running comic at Marvel since 2012’s ‘Marvel NOW!’ ushered in the era of regular relaunches. After November, “Star Wars: Doctor Aphra” will be the only remaining ongoing “Star Wars” comic in publication at the company.
