This has been a long time coming, but ladies and gentlemen you can finally stop scouring eBay for overpriced copies of this book.
Just like we did with upcoming DC books, it looks like “Dr Strange and Dr Doom: Triumph and Torment,” the long out of print Roger Stern/Mike Mignola graphic novel featuring Marvel’s best doctors teaming up will finally be reprinted later this year – August, to be specific. Revealed during a routine (for me, anyway) browse of Amazon for pre-orders, The book is cherished by those who have it and looked at longingly and with jealous eyes by those who don’t (like me!), so this is a chance for many to finally grab a physical edition of the book to call your own.
But wait! There’s more!
Marvel has a lot coming down the pipeline for this year. There’s an omnibus of Millar’s Wolverine (‘Enemy of the State’ and ‘Old Man Logan’) in July as well the first book in a series collecting Larry Hama and Marc Silvestri’s run in July, the second “Mighty Thor ” omnibus in August, new X-collections with the release of “X-Men: Ghosts” in June (#199-209 and an Annual) and a new ‘Phalanx Covenant’ hardcover in August, more Roger Stern with “Avengers: Heavy Metal” (#286-293) in August and Roy Thomas and George Perez’s “Fantastic Four: Crusaders and Titans” (#164-176) in July.
That and every first volume of Marvel NOW! books you could ever want.
Get your pre-orders in, folks.
