So where is Chris Yost going to be hanging out now that his run with the X-Force is done? Why, with the Avengers! Marvel is planning to release an extra-sized Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes miniseries based on the upcoming animated series, with Yost on writing details. But that’s not all! From his Killer of Demons days, Yost brings along Scott Wegener (Atomic Robo!) and Patrick Scherberger for art details.

We don’t know much about it yet other than it will be following continuity of the TV show that begins airing in October. As the solicit/press release reads:

Iron Man! Captain America! Thor! Hulk! When the world’s most evil villains attack, Captain America and Thor must join forces to stop them! Plus, don’t miss a second story featuring everyone’s favorite archer: Hawkeye!

There you have it. We’ve noted multiple times that the All Ages line is really often quite great, so if you’ve never read an All Ages comic from Marvel before, now would certainly be the time. Look for this mini in stores in November.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
