The hype train's rolling on. Marvel Studio's next offering in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor: The Dark World, isn’t even out yet and we’re already seeing them push promotions for the first of their 2014 films, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Which leads us to this, the full official poster, courtesy of the official Twitter page.

From the looks of it, ol’ Steve Rogers is sporting the new, Commander Rogers inspired suit that we saw at this year’s SDCC, but without the all-blue shield. You know, for a character who wore roughly the same suit for decades worth of comics, Rogers is second probably only to Tony Stark in terms of how many costumes he’s had in his films.

So, are you excited for Captain America: The Winter Soldier? Because if you are and this poster simply wasn’t enough, then be on the lookout for the teaser trailer containing our first official footage from the film in two days time.

Alice W. Castle

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
