As revealed on Marvel.com, we now have a plethora of new information about Marvel vs Capcom 3! So let’s take a look at this:

  • Release date: February 15, 2011 – on both PS3 and XBOX 360!
  • Regular edition: includes a cover done by Adi Granov, retails at $59.99!
  • Deluxe edition: 10 bucks more, comes in a steelbook with four pieces of art, a 48-page comic and art book, a one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited and two new DLC characters- Marvel’s own demonic Shuma-Gorath and Capcom’s “Resident Evil” star Jill Valentine! Although, Marvel notes that the DLC characters will be available four weeks after launch for everyone.
  • New characters: She-Hulk and Zero (Mega Man)

So. What more do you want? This includes the already revealed line-up of Marvel characters Captain America, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Dormammu, Hulk, Iron Man, Magneto, MODOK, Spider-Man, Super-Skrull, Thor, Wolverine, and X-23, and from Capcom you get Albert Wesker, Amaterasu, Arthur, Chris Redfield, Chun-Li, Dante, Felicia, Morrigan Aensland, Nathan Spencer, Ryu, Trish, Tron Bonne, and Viewtiful Joe. Sounds like enough to warrant a purchase if you ask me!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
