We’d reported that Marvel was putting together an epic “Phase 1” box set timed for the release of Avengers on DVD and Blu-ray, but today Marvel gave us a look inside the box — and holy jeez. If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic U, I hope you’ve got some money saved up.

Featuring custom artwork for every movie done by Matthew Ferguson, the box is set up as the Tesseract carrier featured in the movie and handled mostly by Sam Jackson. It’ll contain every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie so far on Blu-ray as well as an extra SHIELD disc with extras, not to mention the extras you get just from having the box like your own Tesseract apparently (Thanos-delivered army not included). The box set is going to retail for $219, or you can get it for $152.99 on Amazon. Either way, this is the very definition of a collector’s item, so act now if it’s something you want.

Take a look at Ferguson’s awesome package artwork below:

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
