Matt Fraction To Write GQ’s "We Got Him" Comic

A few days ago, Matt Fraction mentioned on Twitter that he would be writing an upcoming non-fiction comic with artist Nathan Fox for an upcoming issue of GQ. The comic’s subject? The capture and killing of 9/11 terrorist Osama Bin Laden. The comic will reportedly run five pages, and will in fact feature the capture/killing sequence, according to Fraction.

Outside of the Twitter mentioning, though, we can find no confirmation of the story, nor have we found any other site mentioning the story (at least, not from a few Google searches). The absence of anyone else reporting the news does make me suspect to the information, but despite Fraction’s frequent oddball humor on his Twitter account there is no inherent reason not to believe the successful creator’s claims. So until we see additional confirmation, take all of this with a grain of salt.

That being said, a Matt Fraction/Nathan Fox comic should be pretty awesome, all said and done.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
