It looks like April is going to be the month of major artistic shifts on Marvel NOW! titles as we’ve seen Phil Noto join “Thunderbolts”, Walt Simonson join “Indestructible Hulk”, and Mike Hawthorne join “Deadpool”. Now, we’re seeing “Secret Avengers” artist Matteo Scalera join Kathryn Immonen to take Sif on a “Ravenous” journey on “Journey Into Mystery”.
Personally, I’ve been a fan of Scalera’s work on “Secret Avengers” and I think he’ll be a great fit on the book, but I have to wonder if this level of artistic shift is because of Marvel’s insistence on double shipping books.
Either way, we’ll see Matteo Scalera join “Journey Into Mystery” in April.
