Because writing “Action Comics” and bringing “Snapshot” to Image isn’t enough for Diggle at this year’s NYCC, Diggle has also been confirmed to follow James Asmus and Nick Spencer as the third writer for “Thief of Thieves.”

“Thieves,” which was created by Robert Kirkman, has featured a Writer’s Room mentality for the book, where each arc is written by a new author hand-picked by Kirkmanto help tell the ongoing story, so big congrats are in order to Diggle for cleaning up at this year’s Con as “Most Loved By Everyone,” it seems.

(As a side-note, I got to meet Diggle and bought him a drink at the Multiversity/Image party to congratulate him on the “Action Comics” gig, as “Snapshot” hadn’t been publicly announced yet. My b for missing this bit of news and not buying him two.)

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
