NYCC was an absolute blast this year (outside of the MC crew sharing a stomach bug last second), and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Of course, a huge part of that was the epic party we threw with Image Comics for the Hero Initiative on Friday night. You may have heard of it; we called it The Big NYCC Party and advertised it relentlessly.

Well, we’re pleased to say at the end of the night, we had managed to raise over $3,000 for the Hero Initiative, and a great time was had by all! Congratulations to Chris Mooneyham for winning our raffle, and thanks to everyone who came by and gave to a great cause.

So if you came to the party, we’ve got some news for you: all the photos from our resident photo booth The Danger Booth are now online for your perusal at the Danger Booth’s website! Wow! And there are some great photos in there, including one of Rich Johnston nearly biting my ear off. Why? I have not even the slightest recollection, but apparently it happened.

So head on over to the Danger Booth’s site and download photos of you and your friends, and be sure to order prints of your favorite ones! Take a look at some of the fun that was had in the booth this year:

There are many more on the site, including plenty of us being silly, so be sure to take a look at them all! Where? The Danger Booth Dot Com, of course!

If you didn’t come to the party this year, don’t worry: we will most likely (read: definitely) do this again next year. And if you didn’t use the Danger Booth this year, now you have something to get excited about for next year already.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
