For those of you who read “Avengers vs X-Men,” you may remember their new “Infinite Comics” initiative, of which you got free downloads for in a new story-telling format to Marvel. Well, just because the event is over doesn’t mean that the Infinite Comics is over, as it was announced at NYCC that Matt Kindt of “Super Spy” and “Mind MGMT” will be writing a new “Ultimate Spider-Man” comic for the Infinite line.

The story, entitled “Final Exam,” is setin the world of Marvel’s “Ultimate Spider-Man” cartoon. It stars Spidey as he meets Mayor Bloomberg of New York and features Ramon Bachs on art. The story is available now for free in the Marvel digital app right now, but starting monday will be priced at $1.99 so get on your apps and get downloading!

Hopefully this is just the first of more work from Kindt at Marvel, what with the rumor of “Frankenstein’s” cancellation.

There’s a big interview at CBR with Kindt about all of this, for those interested in more details.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
