Looks like all those “rumors” about Aquaman ending were a bit off, eh?

No, “Aquaman” is not leaving, and yes, Geoff Johns is staying with the book. The rumored change that was to occur is in fact that artist Paul Pelletier will be replacing Ivan Reis, who is leaving for “Justice League.” Pelletier will be with the book for the upcoming ‘Throne of Atlantis’ crossover, which brings “Justice League” and “Aquaman” together for one epic storyline.

Pelletier, for those who don’t know, has been working on books since the 1980’s and has had famous runs on DC properties, from everything like “Green Lantern” to “Superman.” He’s also done a great deal of work for Marvel, including the recent “War of Kings” event which was beyond excellent. If there ever was an indication that ‘Throne of Atlantis’ will look wonderful, the combination of Pelletier and Reis is it.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
