“The Adventure Zone” authors (and podcasters) Clint, Griffin, Justin, and Travis McElroy are bringing their trademark humor to Marvel Comics this April, when they launch “War of the Realms: Journey Into Mystery.”

The five-issue limited series will feature art by André Lima Araújo, covers by Valerio Schiti, and follow a ragtag team of Marvel heroes (including Miles Morales, Kate Bishop, Sebastian Druid, and Balder the Brave) as they rescue Thor’s new baby sister – who might be the key to stopping Jason Aaron’s massive, ten realm war.

“‘War of the Realms: Journey Into Mystery’ takes you to a world where Earth is at war, besieged by an army of Frost Giants, Trolls and Fire Goblins — and the mighty Thor is nowhere to be found,” reads the series’s description, released at TheMcElroy.Family. “When it turns out that the key to stopping the war might be Thor’s baby sister, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Wonder Man, Sebastian Druid, Death Locket, Thori the Hellhound, and Balder the Brave must go on an epic quest to save Earth’s only hope! (And, yes, deal with diaper duty.)”

The series marks the return of the comic Thor made his debut in. The last ongoing issue of “Journey into Mystery” came with issue #655 in 2013, which was the finale of Kathryn Immonen’s Sif-centric run, although November saw the release of “Journey into Mystery: The Birth of Krakoa,” a one-shot throwback to the book’s origins as an anthology by Dennis Hopeless and Djibril Morissette-Phan.

“War of the Realms: Journey Into Mystery” debuts April 10.
