If you’re like me or fellow staff writer Josh, you loved Phonogram. And if you’re anything like us beyond that, it means you followed the careers of the creators of Phonogram, which would in turn lead you to Suburban Glamour by Jamie McKelvie. And then, if you’re at all like me, you were left wanting more, patiently waiting the announcement of the second volume.

Well, that time is here.

This weekend at the MCM Expo, McKelvie talked with Digital Spy and gave them the heads up on the new volume, which will be six issues and coming out on Image. It’ll take place a couple months after the last volume, and will deal heavily with Faerie mythology. The book will largely focus around Astrid and David as they deal with her newfound powers, and according to McKelvie, something big is going to happen to set up the third volume (of what he hopes will last to around six volumes total).

Needless to say, count us in.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
