It’s not much of anything and is akin to exactly what was done with the season 2 teaser, but here is your first peek at Game of Thrones season 3. When we say “first peek,” we really mean just the tiniest of peeks. You get a voice over, and nothing else:
That’s the lovely and deadly Melisandre speaking, whom you may know better as The Red Woman who whispers into Stannis’ ears. What does it mean? Who is she saying it to? I could tell you, but that would spoil the fun. Suffice it to say, it’s going to be a dark season.
Look for something else from HBO in relation to GOT season 3 soon, I’d imagine. They did a lot last year. Wonder whose severed head will appear on a poster this time around?
