The Warren Ellis led reboot of the Wildstorm universe will get its second title this October with “Wildstorm: Michael Cray.” The 12-issue miniseries will be written by Bryan Hill with “contributions” by Ellis, and have art by N. Steven Harris and Dexter Vines. The new book will follow Cray after the events in “The Wild Storm,” where he was forced out of International Operations, the secretive organization that runs the world, and discovered that he had what he thought was a brain tumor.
The first issue’s description offers a peak of what that “tumor” actually is, and also teases a crossover with the main DC universe:

Michael Cray, professional assassin, has been betrayed by International Operations and has an alien life-form in his head that’s either killing him, transforming him, or both. Ellis’ “The Wild Storm” and the new incarnation of the Wildstorm universe is one of several “pop-up imprints” that DC is pursuing. The gradual introduction of new titles contrasts with Gerard Way’s Young Animal, which launched with five titles, and the upcoming Dark Matter line, with six announced titles so far. Hopefully this means more Wildstorm books are on the way. “Wildstorm: Michael Cray” #1 will be released on October 11, 2017.
