OK, that’s it for solicitations. I gotta admit, it feels strange not to have some manner of “B.P.R.D.” title in there. Anyway, on to the news!
• Andrea Blasich has sculpted a beautiful Hellboy: The Fury maquette, available from SqaureUp.com, limited to 250 copies.
• Bigshot has a limited number of ‘Monkey with a Gun’ sculptures left.
• Mike Mignola will be attending the TR!CKSTER Fourth Anniversary celebrations. He’ll also have a special print for the occasion.
• There was an exclusive shirt available at the Rose Comic Con recently. If you were able to pick one up, count yourself lucky as it’ll be the last official shirt for the foreseeable future. The Art of Mike Mignola webstore is going to be focusing on prints.
• In the next few weeks we should be getting news about Skelton Crew Studio’s next item from the B.P.R.D. Artifact Archive: Mohlomi’s Bell. And it seems these’ll be signed too… You can keep updated by following Israel Skelton on Twitter or join their mailing list.
• Mike Mignola revealed a bunch of his paintings from April to July on Facebook. Some hi-res scans will go up on The Art of Mike Mignola at a later date.
• OK, I have a lot of art to show off this month… Let’s kick off with this piece from James Harren.
• Laurence Campbell did this picture for the ICE Comic Expo charity auction.
• And he’s been sharing his inked pages from “B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: Cometh the Hour.”
• And Sebastián Fiumara has been sharing some panels from “Abe Sapien.”
• And Paolo River’s been drawing Hellboy and Lobster Johnson pictures…
• Stephen Green, the artist on this month’s “Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.” issue, drew this awesome print.
• Duncan Fegredo’s been sharing some of his drawings too…
• Even Michael Avon Oeming’s been drawing Hellboy.
• Meanwhile Tonci Zonjic has been sharing some fantastic process images, some of older stuff, some of new. There’s too much to share here, so check out his Twitter. But here’s a nice example of the kind of stuff you’ll see…
