Now, on to the news. There’s not that much this month…
— Christopher Golden spoke to Freak Sugar about Baltimore: Empty Graves (the first issue of which came out earlier this month). The interview also revealed Ben Stenbeck’s covers for issues 4 and 5, and Mike Mignola’s cover for the hardcover collection (pictured to the left).
— Review Fix talks to Scott Bukatman about his new book, Hellboy’s World, which came out earlier this month. I recommend checking it out.
— Chris Roberson and Paolo Rivera discuss Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. on Comic Book Resources. The interview includes a look at Paolo Rivera’s pencils and Joe Rivera’s inks. 1953 wraps up at the end of this month. Don’t miss it.
— If you missed Mike Mignola’s panel at C2E2, Comic Book Resources has a recap. Both Mike Mignola and Chris Roberson were present. There’s some discussion about the Witchfinder miniseries Roberson is working on, the larger architecture of the Hellboy Universe, the end of Hellboy in Hell. Mignola even prompts the crowd to ask about Gall Dennar.
